Take us back to masked balls, and dinners by candlelight - where earrings like this were the pieces that the maid would help you put in (or screw on in those days) before heading to join society. These beautiful handmade earring cuffs are ornate and studded with diamonds.
Featuring an almost clover like pattern of diamonds in the centre and the sweeping edges with a delicate vine leading to the last diamond. Hand carved with an illusion setting on the outside of the three sweeping leaves, and that lovely hand carved detail that catches the light so wonderfully. Slightly different in size - again another nod to their amazing handmade history.
Made at some point after the 1930s, they are amazing and I know they would have been the perfect piece for my wedding had I found them then. Stunning, unique, mirror images and with the history to make them heirloom pieces for your children. They look to have been converted at some point from screw backs to knife edge posts and very secure paddle keepers.
