We have been gradually building our collection of embellished, studded belts. This new addition 'Raft' brings a new design element that immediately makes it stand out from its predecessors. To make this belt we start with a lovely vegetable tanned unlined leather which is first lasered to create the paisley cut-outs, before then being lasered again to create a textured burn out effect that leaves a 'relief' effect of paisley detail. At this stage the leather is then washed to pre-age it and finally the waves of antique silver and brass studs are added by hand. To top it off we have added this ornate seascape buckle with its swirling detail and dimpled surface that just seems to match so perfectly with the stud design and cut out belt detail. The overall effect is a belt that has a vintage, boho, rock inspired edge to it - this could be great worn on an all black outfit, worn with denim or used as a centrepiece for ladies over a sweater or dress. Definitely a belt that is full of charm and character!
